Of all the things to do during school breaks in Los Angeles, why is music camp an excellent choice for your children?
Santa Monica Music Camp provides a sequential curriculum, where with each additional week of participation, students learn the next musical level up. With 15 hours of playing and a performance every Friday, many campers achieve in one summer (10 weeks) what would traditionally take them 1-2 years to accomplish in a once or twice-weekly school class.
Music camp is also a great way to introduce and explore different instruments, to get a first-time introduction, or develop skills in reading/playing and performing music. In general, camp is a healthy way to inspire kids to develop a musical talent they might not know they have. After many years of fine-tuning our methodology and camp day, Santa Monica Music Camp has become a uniquely organic way to develop, excel, and nurture a lifelong love of music.
At Santa Monica Music Camp, your child will enjoy playing music 3 hours per day plus a music theory class, all in a 6-hour summer camp-style environment that includes outdoor play, electives of sports and arts/crafts when requested, movie time, and healthy snacks.
Expect great musical improvement with the support of our expert teachers and staff within a week of a camp, and enjoy a showcase concert every Friday demonstrating what they’ve learned. Campers leave with a feeling of accomplishment, a stronger love and understanding of music, and new friends.

Early-bird Discount: 10% off on Spring and Summer camp weeks purchased before March 1.
Sibling Rebate*: 10% off every additional child.
Multiple-week Rebate*: 5% off on every purchase of 3 or more weeks.
*All rebates will be processed after your time at camp has concluded.
*Music Camps: Only one login is necessary even if more than one child will be attending the camp. Please select all weeks desired to enroll, then select "Add a Family Member" in the registration process.
Before/After Care
AM/PM Care: $ 10/hr per camper
Please notify in advance, specifically for AM care which starts at 8am if dropping camper before 8:45 a.m.
After-care starts at 3:15pm. All campers need to be picked up latest 5 p.m. Mon - Thurs, and by 3 p.m. on Friday

Our Music Camps are held on weekdays from 9am – 3pm
Overview of fun we have:
Mornings: Musical “Good Morning” with musical and social games, instrument-specific warm-up and technical method practices, snack break, performance-specific rehearsal, and music theory.
Afternoons: Lunch and play in the park, movie time, performance-specific rehearsal/ensemble rehearsal, and group song rehearsal
